Traffic disruptions are anticipated during the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, scheduled from Wednesday, March 26 to Saturday, March 29. The event will take place at Mike A. Myers Track & Soccer Stadium on the University of Texas campus. This annual track and field event attracts global attention and thousands of spectators.
Certain streets near the stadium will experience closures, and increased traffic is expected, including several large tour buses. From 7 a.m. on March 26 through 10 p.m. on March 29, these streets will have full or partial closures:
- Full closure: Robert Dedman Drive from DeLoss Dodds Way to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
- Westbound only: Clyde Littlefield Drive from I-35 to Robert Dedman Drive
- Southbound only: Red River Street from East Dean Keeton Street to Clyde Littlefield Drive
To avoid traffic congestion, it is suggested to use Guadalupe Street for north-south travel and East Dean Keeton Street for east-west travel.
