Just down South Congress Avenue, a Christmas warehouse is bustling with activity. It serves as the center for the Angel Tree program, providing gifts and essentials to children in Central Texas during the holiday season. This effort depends on support from various partners.

Recently, Greystar contributed by volunteering at the warehouse. About 20 employees organized shelves and managed inventory to prepare for the upcoming program. They arranged toys, sorted clothes, and matched shoes with anticipation for benefiting children this Christmas.

“It is truly a blessing to work alongside partners like Greystar,” said Jennifer Riojas-Santos, executive assistant at The Salvation Army. “Volunteers like this are the heart and soul of our program.”

The Angel Tree initiative is ongoing, seeking more volunteers for warehouse activities. Opportunities include preparation help, distribution assistance, hosting toy drives, or adopting an angel. Those interested can visit DoingMostGood.org/Angel for more information or submit an interest form.
