Palmer Events Center hosts diverse lineup of events in September

AUSTIN, Texas – The Palmer Events Center will host 13 events during September, including the Austin Lowriding Supershow, Austin Coffee Festival, the 10th Annual Beautifully Loved Fashion Show, and two private events.

The Austin Lowriding Supershow will take place on Sunday, Sept. 1. It features a car show, live music, dance contests, vendors, and more. The event aims to pay tribute to and spread knowledge about lowrider culture.

The International Design Conference 2024 is scheduled for Sept. 11-13. It offers an immersive industrial design innovation experience where designers and thought leaders gather to discuss the future of design. The event includes educational sessions, conversations, and networking opportunities.

On Sept. 14, The Sneaker Travelers Austin will host their traveling sneaker show at the center. This event provides sneaker traders and collectors with opportunities to buy, sell, and trade sneakers with vendors from across the country.

The City-Wide Vintage Sale returns on Sept. 14-15. This event allows treasure hunters to explore vintage clothing, furniture, and more from various vendors.

The 10th Annual Beautifully Loved Fashion Show will be held on Sept. 15. This fashion show celebrates teens with cancer and other chronic illnesses by featuring them on the runway in a fundraiser that supports families in need through ticket sales.

The Women’s Symphony League of Austin will host the 2024 WSL Jewel Ball on Sept. 21 at the Palmer Events Center. This black-tie event includes live and silent auctions, live music, casino games, and more for over 1,000 guests.

On Sept. 25, the City of Austin Minority and Small Business Connection will promote access and equity in city contracts while providing economic opportunities to small businesses owned by minorities, women, and disadvantaged groups.

The Austin Area Quilt Guild’s 2024 Quiltfest is set for Sept. 27-29 at the center. As the guild's only fundraiser of the year, it features over 400 quilts on display along with live demonstrations, a silent auction, vendors' booths, and more.

The Austin Coffee Festival takes place on Sept. 28-29 showcasing specialty roasters and coffee shops with unique beans available for tasting alongside snacks and live entertainment.

Austin Princess Day is also scheduled for Sept. 28 at the Palmer Events Center offering families a chance to meet fairytale princesses in full costume with photo opportunities and activities included.

Lastly, on Sept. 29 there will be an AISD Mattress Fundraiser where attendees can purchase mattresses with proceeds benefiting Austin ISD Fine Arts programs.
