Six city-wide summer pools and a temporary Barton Springs Pool bathhouse will open on Monday, June 10, as Austin’s summer season begins. The locations opening across Austin include Civitan, Kennemer, Metz, Parque Zaragoza, Stacy Wading, and West Austin pools.

These six pools are opening one week after 14 city pools successfully opened on June 3. In total, 32 pools and 11 splash pads are scheduled to be open on June 10, 2024. The Gillis Pool opening is delayed due to maintenance. The Aquatic Division will announce when repairs are complete. Updates can be found at AustinTexas.gov/ParkClosures.

Temporary facilities for restrooms and showers will open at Barton Springs Pool on June 10 while the Joan Means Khabele Bathhouse is closed for construction until it reopens in Spring 2025.
