Austin City Limits Radio is set to host the 33rd Blues on the Green concert series starting Tuesday, June 11, in collaboration with the City of Austin. Attendees planning to visit Zilker Park for the event are advised to review guidance from Austin Transportation and Public Works (TPW) and Austin Parks and Recreation (PARD), as ongoing projects around the park will affect parking availability and travel time.
Road closures will be in effect around Zilker Park. Attendees should consult the event map for specific street impacts.
Given limited parking, attendees are encouraged to consider alternative transportation options. With thousands expected at Blues on the Green each year, it is advisable to plan your movements ahead of time and establish a meeting place in case cell phone coverage becomes unreliable during the show. In emergencies where there is an immediate threat to life or property, call 9-1-1. For non-emergency situations, contact Austin 3-1-1 at (512) 974-2000.
The Austin Center for Events (ACE) facilitates special event permitting on public and private property through a collaborative assembly of various City of Austin departments and agencies. ACE includes teams from Austin Public Health, Transportation and Public Works, Parks, Music, Police, Fire, EMS, Austin Resource Recovery, Development Services, among others. They work closely with event organizers throughout the permitting process.
