The Austin City Limits Music Festival, an annual music festival showcasing popular and upcoming musicians, sold out their tickets for the first weekend within the first day.

This year's festival has been scheduled for the weekends beginning on Oct. 7 and Oct. 14 at Zilker Park in Austin. The first weekend's tickets were highly anticipated and sold out on the first day.

"And just like that, Weekend One of #ACLFest is SOLD OUT!" an Instagram post from the event's organizers said. "Get your Weekend Two 3-Day Tickets while they last!"

The second weekend's tickets are still currently available for purchase.

This year's festival will feature Lil Nas X, Paramore, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others. The schedule for performances is not yet available.

Spanish language artists, such as The Marías and Omar Apollo, will be performing alongside English artists on both weekends, a recent Rolling Stone release said.

Only 3-day tickets are currently being sold, but single-day tickets are expected to be available soon, the festival's website said.
