Friday, Sept. 3

JURASSIC QUEST

Don’t miss the life-size animatronic dinosaurs — 100 of them at the Austin Convention Center from Sept. 3-6. Tickets, which start at $19, should be purchased in advance through this link for a guaranteed time slot. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. With valid IDs, police, military, medical personnel and first responders may save 10%.

YOGA ON THE LAWN

Breathe in the relaxing morning at the Neill-Cochran House Museum (NCHM) on Friday under the shade of calming trees with Yoga on the Lawn. Space is limited thus advance registration is encouraged. Tickets are at $10 for NCHM members and $12 for non-NCHM members.

"CRAZY RICH ASIANS" AT DOC'S DRIVE IN THEATRE

CAMERA BASICS FOR FILM & VIDEO

Learn hands-on with real gear from Austin-based industry filmmaker and educator Cordelaine (Corey) Kline. He will be teaching the basic and essential skills required to operate modern cameras used for film and video production. Equipment will be provided for the duration of the class (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM). It will be held at Motion Media Arts Center, 2200 Tillery St, Austin, TX 78723. Register for the course for $295.
