ResiBrands has announced the launch of its inaugural Paint It Forward national day of service for That 1 Painter franchisees, alongside a call for nominations. Scheduled for March 24, 2025, over 100 projects will be undertaken during the week as part of this initiative.
"Paint it Forward is fundamental to our mission at ResiBrands," said Steven Montgomery, Founder and CEO of ResiBrands. "Our That 1 Painter franchisees are good neighbors first and foremost. We believe in the power of good."
In collaboration with Sherwin-Williams, That 1 Painter businesses nationwide will offer complimentary painting services to deserving families and non-profit organizations. Nominations can be submitted online at Paint It Forward.
James Giddens, Regional Account Executive at Sherwin-Williams, commented, "By partnering with That 1 Painter and the Paint It Forward program, we’re aligning with our corporate values and our partners, professional painters in their local communities."
The nomination criteria focus on unique stories from individuals or non-profits, project scope, the need for a new paint job, and how they plan to give back to their community. The aim is to foster ongoing community service in every area served by That 1 Painter.
"There is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to create a fresh start," Montgomery added. "This is another way the ‘Blue Collar Revolution’ is manifesting throughout the country."
Founded by Steve Montgomery in 2011, That 1 Painter has become the largest painting company in the U.S. by territory. Entrepreneur Media recognized it as one of the "Top New and Emerging Franchises" in 2024.
ResiBrands comprises several home service companies including Garage Up and Pink's Window Services.
