Eanes ISD announces 2025 EANESpiration Award winners

Eanes Independent School District has announced the winners of the 2025 EANESpiration Awards for Adult Transition Services. The awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the district.

Steve Drake, a teacher at ATS, was honored for his educational impact. "Steve has devoted many years of his career to enhance the educational experience for students at ATS," noted the district. His work extends beyond the classroom as he volunteers with Unified Robotics.

Morgan Mosiello, another teacher at ATS, joined Eanes ISD this school year and has been recognized for her dedication. She serves as Co-Head of Delegation for Eanes Special Olympics and is involved with the ATS Longhorns Best Buddies program. "Her willingness to give of herself is truly commendable," said the district.

Tyler's Westlake received recognition as a community partner under the Good Samaritan category. A student from ATS began employment there and was supported by managers Alyssa Benavides, Jose, and Pedro. "The relationship between Tyler's Westlake and Eanes Adult Transition Services has been crucial," said the release.

Ilirjane Dauti-Shita and Karen Heath were named Heroes for their outstanding achievements as job coaches. Ilirjane Dauti-Shita, known as Yana, has been praised for her expertise in working with complex students over two decades. Karen Heath is recognized for her dedication and results with students, also volunteering as a Special Olympics coach.

These individuals exemplify commitment to education and community involvement within Eanes ISD.
