Peelander-Yellow, a unique exhibit by Kengo Hioki, is currently on display at the Asian American Resource Center (AARC) in Austin, Texas. The exhibition, titled "Let's Play on Planet-Yellow!!!", will run until April 5, 2025.
The exhibit invites visitors to explore Planet Yellow, home to diverse non-human-like beings. It aims to highlight diversity and solidarity beyond differences. According to the exhibit's description, "the residents of Planet Yellow look very different from humans and animals on Earth," with varied body parts and skin tones unfamiliar to those on Earth. The planet is known for its friendliness despite these differences.
