CapMetro is set to resume its regular services on Wednesday, January 22, after disruptions caused by recent weather conditions. The resumption includes fixed-route buses such as Flyer, Express, and Night Owls, along with CapMetro Rail, Access, Pickup, and Bikeshare.

CapMetro Bikeshare will start at 7 a.m., while Pickup in Lago Vista and Route 214 will commence at 8 a.m. Other services will begin at their usual times.

Due to freezing overnight temperatures affecting road conditions, some fixed-route services may experience detours. CapMetro advises customers to be cautious of ice and patient with any potential delays. Updates on routes can be received through CapMetro Alerts or by contacting the Customer Service GO line at 512-474-1200.

Service suspension is planned for 9 p.m. on January 21 due to cold temperatures; customers are encouraged to complete their trips before this time.

In collaboration with the City of Austin and Travis County Emergency Operations Center, CapMetro has assisted in transporting over 500 individuals to cold weather shelters during the adverse weather event. The agency remains committed to supporting shelter operations as required.
