The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) is set to conduct an accreditation site visit for Travis County STAR Flight on February 10 and 11, 2025. The purpose of this visit is to assess the program's adherence to nationally established medical transport standards. The findings from this evaluation will help determine if the program should receive accreditation and under what conditions.

CAMTS focuses on patient care and safety within the transport environment. Individuals with relevant information about these matters can request a public information interview with CAMTS site surveyors during the visit. To participate, requests must be submitted in writing at least ten business days before the site survey begins. These requests should specify the information intended for discussion and be sent to ADMIN@CAMTS.ORG.

Upon receiving such requests, CAMTS will respond either in writing or by phone and inform the program about the interview request. Subsequently, they will notify the interviewee regarding the meeting's date, time, and location.

This announcement complies with CAMTS requirements and will remain posted until after the site visit concludes.
