Austin Community College District (ACC) has been recognized as one of America's Dream Employers 2025. This award is presented in collaboration with Statista, a leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
"Our faculty and staff are the heart of ACC, and we're incredibly proud to be recognized for our commitment to their success and well-being," says ACC Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart. "This recognition reflects our ongoing efforts to build a supportive and positive work environment, enabling us to better serve our students and advance our mission of helping them succeed."
The selection for America's Dream Employers 2025 was based on an independent survey conducted over the last three years. It involved college students and employees from companies and institutions in the U.S. with at least 1,000 employees across all industry sectors. More than 266,000 data points were gathered, with the final score determined by how often ACC was named a "dream employer."
ACC has implemented various initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, including flexible work offerings, professional development opportunities, and wellness programs. The college also provides support resources like extended maternity leave, an Employee Assistance Program, and free counseling through Deer Oaks.
The award list was announced in November and can be viewed on Forbes' website.
