Priority enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is now available for current and prospective students of Austin ISD. Families are encouraged to complete their enrollment by following a checklist provided by the district.
New families must provide their child's current immunization records, while returning families only need to submit updates if applicable. Identification from a parent or guardian is required for new families and updated IDs are needed for returning ones if there have been changes.
Proof of guardianship is necessary only if applicable or updated for both new and returning families. All families must provide proof of residency annually, which can include an electric bill, gas bill, lease, or mortgage statement dated within the last 45 days.
Additionally, new enrollees will need to present a child's birth certificate, a Social Security card (optional), and a withdrawal form or last report card if applicable.
The priority enrollment period extends until February 4, 2025. It includes registration for neighborhood schools as well as application-based programs and transfers.
