Wheatsville Co-op is offering a variety of Thanksgiving meal options for pre-order this year. Customers can choose from a selection of turkeys, including Mary’s Free-Range Turkeys, which are non-GMO and antibiotic-free, and Ferndale Smoked Turkeys from Minnesota. There is also a limited supply of Richardson Farm Pasture-Raised Turkeys available.
For those seeking plant-based alternatives, Turtle Island Tofurky is on the menu. This vegan option features a stuffing of wild rice and whole-wheat bread crumbs.
In addition to turkey, Niman Ranch Hams are available. These hams are slowly smoked and seasoned with maple, sugar, and salt.
Wheatsville Co-op also offers various appetizers, sides, and desserts. Among these are Garlic Chive Cheese Ball and Vegan Cheeze Ball for starters. Side dishes include Green Bean Casserole, Dinner Rolls, Coconut Mashed Potatoes, and Vegan Mac and Cheese with Broccoli. Dessert options feature in-house made pies like pumpkin, pecan, blueberry, and the new Vegan peanut butter pie with an Oreo crumb crust.
Pre-orders can be made between October 28 and November 22. Orders will be ready for pickup during Thanksgiving week.
