The Austin Ed Fund's 10th annual Inspire the Future luncheon took place this week, bringing together public education advocates from across the city to support Austin ISD.
"Strong Schools, Stronger Austin isn’t just a saying in Austin ISD. With the support of businesses, elected officials and community leaders, our students will continue thriving in our classrooms."
The Austin Ed Fund serves as the district’s non-profit arm, raising funds to support education and educational projects within Austin ISD. Over the past decade, the luncheon has expanded significantly from its initial gathering of 200 guests and 30 sponsors to hosting 740 guests and 142 sponsors this year.
The event featured performances by student groups from across the district, including the Kealing Symphony Orchestra, Bowie High School Drumline, MAC Theatre, and Crockett Early College High School Ballet Folklorico and Mariachi.

El evento ha crecido en los últimos 10 años pasando de 200 invitados y 30 patrocinadores a 740 invitados y 142 patrocinadores. El evento destacó la presentación de estudiantes de todo el distrito, incluyendo la Orquesta Sinfónica Kealing, la línea de tambores de la Preparatoria Bowie, el Teatro MAC y el Ballet Folklórico y Mariachi de la Preparatoria Crockett.
