Meagan Tubb has been making waves in the music industry with her unique blend of classic rock, blues, soul, Americana, and funk. Her songs are inspired by various themes, including nature and personal experiences. Over the past 15 years, Tubb and her band have achieved significant milestones. They won a battle of the bands competition and had the opportunity to open for Willie Nelson on two occasions. Additionally, she secured guitar sponsorships from Dean and Luna Guitars.
Tubb's song "Let Me Believe" earned her an Independent Music Award for "Best Song" in the Blues category and was also a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition. Her 2011 album "Cast Your Shadow" received positive reviews from several publications such as The Austin Chronicle and Vintage Guitar Magazine.
Since becoming a mother, Tubb has expanded her songwriting repertoire to include music for children. She participated in the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival three times. In 2020, she released an album titled "Signs and Wonders," followed by a music video for "Rainbow Child" in 2021. This track has gained regular airplay on KUT’s “Lone Star State of Mind” with Loris Lowe.
Outside of her musical career, Tubb is dedicated to her family life as a wife and mother. She enjoys crocheting for her daughters, running, cooking, rapping about motherhood, learning home studio recording techniques, and speaking in silly accents.
