October marks Cybersecurity Awareness Month, an initiative encouraging individuals to protect their data and reduce online risks. Emphasizing the importance of safeguarding computer systems, networks, and sensitive information from unauthorized access, the campaign aims to shield families from potential cyber attacks.

Participants are encouraged to engage in various activities to enhance their cybersecurity knowledge. One suggestion is to create a digital or paper poster or video for a contest celebrating Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The submission should address the question: "How have you learned to be responsible for your digital safety?" Projects must be submitted by Monday, October 28, 2024.

Additionally, families are advised to review and sign the Responsible Use Policy (RUP) provided by educational institutions. The initiative also suggests exploring additional cybersecurity resources like games and videos available on a newly launched platform.

The Spanish version of the message reinforces the importance of protecting sensitive information against unauthorized access that could expose families to cyber threats. Participants can submit their projects before the deadline mentioned above.

Both versions emphasize collaboration in ensuring online safety and provide avenues for learning through interactive resources and contests.
