Tiff’s Treats marked National Dog Day this year with a special celebration, partnering with Austin Pets Alive! and the SPCA of Texas in Dallas. The event featured cookie deliveries, adoptable dogs, and moments aimed at raising awareness for animal welfare.
In Austin, a boxer mix named Olympia joined the festivities. Available for foster and adoption through Austin Pets Alive!, Olympia brought joy to those who received cookies. A new mother to four puppies also up for adoption, her presence was warmly received by all.
Austin Pets Alive! is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving at-risk animals in the Austin area since its founding in 1997. It has played a crucial role in making Austin a no-kill city through innovative programs such as medical care, behavioral training, and foster and adoption services.
In Dallas, two puppies named Rose and Ruth participated in the day’s activities. Found outside an abandoned house when they were under a week old, they have grown into healthy 8-week-olds thanks to their SPCA caregivers. Their story highlighted the dedication of the SPCA staff.
The SPCA of Texas, established in 1938, is committed to promoting animal welfare and preventing cruelty across Texas. The organization offers rescue services, adoption programs, veterinary care, and educational initiatives aimed at improving animal lives and strengthening human-animal bonds.
Despite not being able to fulfill all requests for dog deliveries on National Dog Day, Tiff’s Treats expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bring joy through cookies and adoptable pets. The company acknowledged the hard work of both shelters' staff members.
A $5,000 donation from Tiff’s Treats towards efforts to clear shelters this month was made as part of their appreciation for these organizations' impactful work.
