The Department of Parks and Recreation offers opportunities for soccer enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. From structured youth programs at community recreation centers that emphasize skill development and teamwork to adult leagues and tournaments in collaboration with local organizations, the City of Austin helps keep soccer accessible and appealing for Austin residents. The soccer programs promote physical activity and foster a sense of community among participants.

With 25 dedicated soccer fields, 70 multipurpose fields, and an increasing number of mini-pitches, Austin provides ample space for everyone to play, compete, and enjoy the sport. In recent years, Austin has expanded its soccer infrastructure through partnerships with Austin FC, the 4ATX Foundation, and the US Soccer Foundation. These collaborations have resulted in the installation of state-of-the-art mini-pitches that offer free and safe spaces for families and local residents to learn and play.

Join Austin's passionate soccer community and discover why the city is becoming a hub for soccer enthusiasts of all ages. For more information about public soccer fields, mini-pitches, and upcoming soccer events in Austin, visit AustinTexas.gov/Soccer.
