On June 12, The Rathgeber Center for Families welcomed special guests from the University of Texas at Austin’s Football Team to celebrate the start of summer break with the children. Eight Longhorns joined the children and their families in various outdoor activities. The players engaged in playing catch, teaching basketball skills, drawing with sidewalk chalk, and enjoying music.
To combat the heat, a foam machine was set up in the courtyard, allowing kids and players to cool down while splashing around in a foam pit that eventually covered the entire basketball court. The event concluded with players autographing merchandise for the children, creating lasting memories.
"Thank you to UT for consistently choosing to spend time at The Rathgeber Center. Your presence here creates such a unique experience and brings so much joy to our families."
