The City of Austin’s We All Belong Anti-Hate initiative invites the public to City Hall at 301 W 2nd Street on Saturday, June 22, from 6 - 10 p.m., for The Party at the People’s House. This event promises an evening of community, culture, and creativity.
Produced in partnership with Almost Real Things, the celebration will be a free immersive summer experience featuring live music, performances, art activities, family-friendly fun, and more.
The official Party at the People’s House 2024 lineup includes music and performances, an art and artisan market, communal art activities where attendees can create together, and food and drinks with summer-inspired treats from local vendors.
Representatives from nearly 30 city programs and community organizations will also be present. Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP online. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on ATXN at ATXN.tv. ATXN is accessible via cable television through Spectrum and Astound (formerly Grande) as well as through the ATXN app available on AppleTV, Roku, Amazon Fire, and Google Play.
The purpose of the party is to inspire visitors to take action to keep Austin a safe and welcoming place by reporting acts of hate. More information about streamlined reporting and other resources is available at austintexas.gov/againsthate.
Attendees are encouraged to use alternative mobility options such as the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail, public transportation, ride-sharing services or carpooling.
