This past week, HAAM Pearl Society members attended a concert featuring Marcia Ball’s Pianorama and Carolyn Trowbridge, with performances by Nick Connolly, William “Chip” Dolan, Damien Llanes, Miggy Milla, Zack Morgan, Nick Tozzo, and Red Young. The event took place at Strait Music’s new location on Bee Cave Road. The gathering highlighted the essence of Pearl Society: talented local musicians performing for an engaged community of Austin music enthusiasts.
The evening began with Red Young sharing his story alongside Dr. Devish Patel from Enamel Dentistry about receiving essential dental care. "Thank you to Dr. Patel and his team for providing treatment to ensure Red can keep touring and performing," was noted during the event.
Strait Music extended its hours exclusively for the event, allowing guests to explore their new store. A portion of sales from the evening supported HAAM.
In 2023, support from Pearl Society Members enabled HAAM to assist over 3,000 musicians. Joining Pearl Society helps provide critical healthcare access for Central Texas musicians. Membership is encouraged for those who do not want to miss future events in 2024.
Acknowledgments were given to Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Brown Distributing Company, Still Austin Whiskey Co., Dulce Vida Tequila, and C.L. Butaud Wines for supplying beverages throughout the evening. Central Market provided snacks for attendees.
