University Federal Credit Union (UFCU) has announced its collaboration with Texas Ex and New York artist Isabella Hollis in creating a vibrant mural at Texas One Stop, highlighting the essence of the iconic "Drag" and the University of Texas (UT) campus culture. The mural, located in the Texas One Stop Home of UFCU Lounge, aims to enhance the atmosphere, according to a press release by UFCU.

"By centralizing critical services that once were located all over campus, Texas One Stop is removing barriers so students can succeed in school and their future careers," stated University Federal Credit Union.

The "Drag" is a section of Guadalupe Street that runs alongside the western edge of the UT Austin campus. It is steeped in Longhorn tradition and has been a significant part of students' lives for generations. The Texas One Stop and UFCU Lounge, strategically located at the center of the UT-Austin campus, serves as a destination designed to bolster students' success, as described by UFCU.

Isabella Hollis expertly captured UFCU's integral place as one of the historic icons that comprise the UT community, alongside the UT Tower and the Drag," said UFCU President and CEO Michael Crowl. "UT students have been frequenting the Drag for as long as they have been relying on UFCU to help them thrive financially on campus and beyond. Her vibrant depiction, filled with color and movement, symbolizes UFCU's mission of moving the community forward," according to a press release by UFCU.

UFCU has invested $1 million in partnership with UT-Austin to create the Texas One Stop and UFCU Lounge. This centralized hub consolidates essential services that were previously scattered across the campus. Students now have a single point of access to critical resources and support, streamlining their academic and administrative needs. Additionally, the space offers a welcoming and relaxed on-campus environment for students to unwind, enjoy gourmet coffee, and socialize, according to UFCU.

The partnership between UFCU and UT-Austin aims to provide students with a convenient and supportive environment, ensuring their success in both their academic and future professional endeavors.
