This marks a one-spot improvement from last year and solidifies UT as the top public university in Texas. UT also made significant strides among both public and private universities, jumping six notches to No. 32 overall.

In addition to its academic achievements, UT was recognized as the No. 16 "Most Innovated School" in the country. This recognition highlights the university's commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and driving innovation in various fields.
These rankings are determined by U.S. News & World Report using 19 metrics to assess a school's performance.
