1. Approve the minutes of the Special Public Safety Committee meeting held on April 24, 2023.
The minutes of the April 24, 2023, Public Safety Committee meeting were approved on Mayor Kirk Watson’s motion, and Council Member Jose Vela’s second, on a 4 – 0 vote.

The Committee received a briefing from Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon, Dr. Johnathan Kringen and Texas Department of Public Safety Deputy Director Vincent Luciano
