The PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE convened in a hybrid format meeting on May 23, 2022 at 301 W. 2nd Street in Austin, Texas.

Committee Chair Harper-Madison called the committee meeting to order at 2:06 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

1. Approve the minutes of the March 28, 2022 meeting of the Public Safety Committee.

The motion approving the minutes of the March 28, 2022 meeting of the Public Safety Committee was passed on Council Member Kelly’s motion, seconded by Council Member Ellis, without objection and with Council Member Vela off the dais, a 3-0 vote.

2. Discussion of City preparations for disaster resilience.
