City of Austin City Council will meet Aug. 11.
Here is the agenda provided by the council:
The City Council Budget Work Session will convene at 10:00 AM, at 301 W. Second Street, Austin, TX and some members may be attending via videoconference
The City Council may go into a closed session as permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act, (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code) regarding any item on this agenda.
Council Discussion
1. Discussion regarding the City of Austin Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Proposed Budget, including process and procedures.
Parks and Recreation
2. Approve an ordinance waiving City Code Section 25-1-502 related to Planning Commission review of parkland dedication requirements for commercial developments.
Public Hearings and Possible Actions
3. Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance amending City Code Chapter 25-1 to require parkland dedication for commercial developments.
Executive Session
4. Discuss legal issues related to budget matters (Private Consultation with legal counsel - Section 551.071 of the Government Code).
5. Discuss legal issues related to the November 8, 2022 election (Private consultation with legal counsel - Section 551.071 of the Government Code).
