Blackwood, New Jersey-based Vision Solar is set to open its first Texas office in Austin.

The solar company plans to expand in many regions of South Florida, and rightly so. Their plan to open their first Texas office is also a step in the right direction since the state is soon to become a leader in the solar industry.

“With Texas ranked second in the country for solar energy, prices becoming more favorable for customers, and untapped market penetration, we feel that this is a great market opportunity. As a leader in solar energy, we are excited to open an office in Austin and look forward to serving the homeowners interested in switching to solar,” said Jonathan Seibert, Vision Solar CEO.

According to the company, it experienced exponential growth of 800% during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ever since then, the company has demonstrated that they are indeed moving in the right direction to become one of the biggest solar companies in the country.

The expansion into Texas will occur during the first quarter of this year. It follows openings in Florida and Connecticut.

Servicing residential homes nationwide, Vision Solar has grossed over $100 million in revenue in the past three years.
