IT operations management platform NinjaRMM recently announced that it witnessed a nearly 50% increase in its customer base to more than 6,000 customers globally and a 75% year-over-year revenue boost for the year 2021, according to a press release.

The company attributes its major growth this year to the increasing number of workers that are telecommuting due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This year has completely blown away our expectations for the company's growth and that's thanks to the incredible leaders that push NinjaRMM forward every day," NinjaRMM CEO Sal Sferlazza said. "The investments we've made across the company ensure that we're delivering constant improvements to our platform faster and getting it into the hands of our customers. As we move into market leadership, I'm confident IT leaders will see just how transformative our technology can be."

The emergence of a remote workforce didn't damper hiring at NinjaRMM as the company's workforce has risen to 320 worldwide.

The company plans to add more than 200 new employees to its global workforce.

Dean Yeck, NinjaRMM Chief Revenue Officer, said, "All over the world we're seeing IT leaders turn to us as they seek solutions that will enable them to thrive in a distributed future. NinjaRMM's single-pane-of-glass platform delivers an incredibly agile yet powerful endpoint management experience with unbeatable efficiency and support."

CRN reports that NinjaRMM has called Austin home for more than a month after the company shifted all employees to working from home.

"The No. 1 reason moving to Austin was right for Ninja is that’s where our employees wanted to go," Sferlazza told CRN. "When the COVID-19 pandemic kicked off the work-from-home era, about half of Ninja’s employees were already working remotely and a handful of employees had planned to relocate from the Bay Area to Austin. With our lease ending at our office in San Francisco and the company going fully remote for the foreseeable future, moving now ended up being the perfect timing."

The 4,800-square-foot Austin office will employ approximately 30 employees with plans to add up to 100 more employees in the future.

All employees at the Texas office are required to be vaccinated.
