ERCOT data shows that wind generation in Texas is down almost 6% in the first six months of 2023

Data from ERCOT, the electric grid manager for most of Texas, for the first six months of 2023 shows that generation of electricity from wind turbines is down almost 6 percent from last year. This calls into question the ability of wind to contribute to grid reliability.
