CapMetro will suspend fares on all its services on Election Day, November 8. This initiative aims to facilitate access to polling locations for voters in Central Texas.
The agency's bus, rail, bike, and Pickup services provide convenient access to numerous polling sites across the area. By waiving fares, CapMetro hopes to encourage more residents to participate in the voting process.
Voters can use CapMetro’s online Trip Planner or the CapMetro App to identify routes that best serve their needs for reaching polling locations.
Additionally, MetroBike customers can benefit from free rides by downloading the BCycle app, selecting the Explorer pass, and entering the promo code "BIKETOVOTE2022."
