Last week, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) celebrated a new mural by local artist and musician Wiley Ross at their headquarters. The event featured music from DJ KICKIT and marked a significant milestone for HAAM, with support from Lynne Dobson and Greg Wooldridge of the Tejemos Foundation.

Wiley Ross was recently recognized as the Best Visual Artist in Austin Monthly’s Best of ATX 2024 Readers’ Choice poll. His mural reflects Austin's vibrant music scene with bright colors and a lively depiction of musicians and fans. The artwork captures the community spirit that HAAM promotes—a celebration of collaboration, support, and love for music.

Lynne Dobson and Greg Wooldridge facilitated HAAM's connection with Raasin in the Sun, an Austin-based multicultural art nonprofit. This organization focuses on cultural arts and environmental initiatives to revitalize communities. The mural project involved contributions from Raasin McIntosh, Renee Chen, and others who helped bring this vibrant piece to life.

The public is encouraged to visit HAAM Headquarters to view Wiley Ross's mural in person. The artwork includes several "Easter Eggs" related to HAAM’s history for visitors to discover.
