The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) are set to host a public meeting, both virtually and in-person, regarding the MoPac South Environmental Study on November 12.

According to an October 15 press release from the Circle C Homeowners Association, the meeting aims to gather public opinion on identifying a feasible mobility solution for an eight-mile stretch of MoPac (Loop 1), extending from Cesar Chavez Street to Slaughter Lane in Travis County.

The in-person meeting will take place at Austin High School's cafeteria, located at 1715 W. Cesar Chavez St., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to view exhibit boards, review the proposed schematic, engage with the project team, and submit official comments. The virtual meeting will also commence at 5 p.m. and remain accessible for viewing until December 29 through www.voh.MoPacSouth.com.

Both CTRMA and TxDOT will accept public comments from November 12 to December 29. Comments can be submitted during the in-person open house, online, via email at MoPacSouth@ctrma.org, or by mail addressed to Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, c/o MoPac South, 3300 N.
