The Greater Austin Business Awards took place on October 10th, marking a significant event in the local business community. Hosted by the Austin Chamber of Commerce, the ceremony celebrated the achievements of 60 finalists across various categories. Over 700 people attended the event to honor these businesses.
This year, companies were recognized in 15 different categories. The selection process involved an independent panel of judges, with one award, the Uniquely Austin Award, being determined through public voting. Some awards had multiple winners based on company size.
The list of finalists included names such as Accenture and Hot Dog Marketing. Companies like Achieve Integrative Health and ICON also made it to the finals. Other notable mentions were Affordable Central Texas (ACT) | Austin Housing Conservancy and Impact Family Wellness.
The diverse range of sectors represented at the awards highlighted businesses from healthcare, technology, non-profits, and more. Among them were Airrosti and Impressive Digital Agency LLC from healthcare and digital marketing respectively.
Additional finalists included Allergan Aesthetics, An AbbVie Company; Petr Marek from Invoice Home Inc; Ascension Seton; Junior Achievement of Central Texas; Auctane; Etienne Cadestin from Longevity Partners; Austin Habitat for Humanity, Inc.; Luna Data Solutions; Ballet Austin; Movability; Dr. Larry Wallace Jr., Black Men's Health Clinic; NI; BookSpring; Oak Haven Massage.
Other participants spanned organizations like Baylor Scott & White Health, PopShorts, CapMetro, Red Fan Communications, Cartograph, Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation among others.
Companies recognized also featured CLEAN Cause and Samsung Austin Semiconductor along with ClearCam Inc., Serenity Kids among others within their respective fields.
Finalists ranged further with ConverseNow and Shār Snacks as well as Digital Turbine and Smarter Reality LLC contributing to a broad representation of industries within Greater Austin's business landscape.
Further acknowledged entities included Economic Growth Business Incubator alongside STV inc as well as ECR partnered with SWBC among other distinguished finalists.
Additionally mentioned were Electroninks Inc., University Federal Credit Union paired with Emancipet and Urban Betty including Anna Tallent from EY associated with Wexel Art among others.
Organizations like Greater Austin YMCA connected to Mathias Ihlenfeld from woom together with Chelsea Elliott representing half Helen alongside Shanaz Hemmati affiliated with ZenBusiness rounded out this year's prestigious finalist roster.
The Greater Austin Business Awards once again provided a platform for recognizing outstanding contributions by local businesses in fostering growth and innovation within the region.
