Representatives from the Austin Parks and Recreation Department will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Bull Creek District Park Improvement on Tuesday, September 17 at 10 a.m. The event will take place at 6701 Lakewood Dr. Attendees are advised to dress comfortably as this is an outdoor event.
The ceremony marks the completion of restroom renovations, concluding all improvements identified in the 2017 Concept Plan. These enhancements aim to ensure the park's continued use for future generations.
The Concept Plan was recommended for approval by the Parks and Recreation Board in 2017 following three public input meetings. It serves as a guide for design development and permitting.
