Ashton Naylor, a singer/songwriter from San Marcos, Texas, has joined Saxon. Raised in a musically diverse household with influences ranging from Willie Nelson to Pearl Jam, Naylor developed an early affinity for various music genres. He began playing guitar and writing songs during his first semester of college.
A year later, Naylor enrolled at South Plains College in Lubbock to pursue a degree in music. He has since returned to his hometown to continue refining his songwriting skills while attending Texas State University. Naylor's musical style blends elements of country, blues, and Americana, drawing inspiration from artists such as Jerry Jeff Walker, Robert Earl Keen, and Tom Petty.
Looking ahead, Naylor aims to further develop as an independent songwriter and performer within Texas.
