Buffalo Sons take Saxon Pub stage on July 3rd

In 2017, three enthusiasts of whiskey and music decided to form a new original rock band in Austin. Dissatisfied with the local music scene dominated by cover bands, they named their band BUFFALO SONS after the Buffalo Trace bourbon in their drinks.

Combining influences from mainstream artists like Hendrix, Cream, and Zeppelin, they developed a unique sound that blends soulful alternative rock with blues and country elements. By 2019, they released their first LP titled "Reincarnated," recorded at Compound Studios and produced by Ken Tondre. The album is available on all digital music platforms.

BUFFALO SONS regularly perform at local venues such as Cedar Street, The Granary, and Nomadic Outpost. They also hold several residencies, including at Speakeasy Austin and the private social club The Howard.
