The Save Our Springs Alliance recently unveiled details for its forthcoming annual holiday party, scheduled to take place on December 8 in Austin, Texas. Attendees can expect a festive ambiance with food, beverages and a silent auction at the gathering.

In an announcement made on the Save Our Springs Alliance's official website, the details of this year's holiday celebration were laid out. Hosted by the organization itself, the event is slated for Friday, December 8 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The festivities will be held at the American Legion Charles Johnson House located at 404 Atlanta Street in Austin.

As highlighted in their press release, this year’s party puts emphasis on local resources. The festive evening will include homemade tamales, music performed by Austin-based artists and interaction with Austin locals. Arrangements have also been made for a silent auction showcasing work from local creators.

Regarding entrance fees to the event, it was stated that admission is pegged at $20 per person at the door. This fee covers a tamale dinner, one drink ticket and access to participate in the silent auction. Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available and greatly appreciated with perks including complimentary entry for sponsors and their guests along with acknowledgement across various platforms such as email newsletters and on-site recognition during the event.

Established to protect Edwards Aquifer and its corresponding springs and streams, Save Our Springs Alliance has also taken responsibility over preserving cultural heritage within Hill Country region's watersheds. Barton Springs has been particularly noted within their mission focus. Bill Bunch currently serves as Executive Director of The Alliance.
