Austin-based senior living community Maravilla at The Domain recently celebrated the grand opening of its on-site integrated healthcare clinic. According to Mark Ranno, executive director of Maravilla at The Domain, this new clinic shows how much they care about the residents of their community.

"Since opening in 2022, Maravilla has offered the highest level of state-of-the-art rehabilitative health care services, and with the launch of this clinic, we are expanding the comprehensive range of services we offer our residents, literally at their doorsteps. We are deeply committed to providing best-in-class community and care for our residents. That’s what sets us apart from our competitors and makes Maravilla the gold standard for luxurious, active, and healthful retirement living," said Ranno.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Sept. 15 to celebrate the new healthcare clinic, which was made in partnership with EmpowerMe. The clinic will bring healthcare services such as a pharmacy, laboratory/diagnostic, and primary care physician services to Maravilla at The Domain.

According to a press release by Maravilla at The Domain, it is the first senior living community in Central Texas to have integrated healthcare services to support residents’ health.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks were made by Ranno and Sara Padilla, Senior Resource Group’s vice president of health services. Paul Linson, the clinic’s dedicated nurse practitioner, also spoke, elaborating on his role and answered residents' questions about the clinic.

After the event, guests and residents were able to talk with staff, ask additional questions, and enjoy light, healthy breakfast bites. The clinic opened officially on Sept. 15.
