National Private Lenders Association (NPLA) recently announced the details for their upcoming conference, which will take place in Austin, TX, in October. According to a press release from September 28, this lending industry event will feature former coach Jason Garrett as a guest speaker.
According to the press release, the NPLA Conference, considered by some to be one of the most prominent private lending conferences in the United States, is scheduled for Oct. 15-17, 2023, at the Fairmont Hotel in Austin. This event will feature notable guest speakers, including former Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett and Devyn Bachman from John Burns Research and Consulting (JBREC). Bachman is a returning speaker, having received a positive reception for her presentation at the 59th NPLA Conference in June 2023 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Jason Garrett, a former NFL Coach of the Year, who has both played for and coached the Dallas Cowboys, and is currently an NBC Sports commentator, will be a guest speaker at the NPLA Conference on Oct. 17. During the afternoon session, he will offer motivation and insights to encourage attendees to strive for success, both in their professional and personal endeavors.
The NPLA Conference, formerly referred to as the Pitbull Conference, is known for fostering connections, providing education on current industry trends, and offering entertainment during the three-day experience. Following the success of the Atlantic City event, which attracted a substantial crowd, the forthcoming Austin event will expand the conference's reach. Notably, this will be the inaugural NPLA conference to embrace non-QM and DSCR service providers, lenders, and borrowers, said the press release.
