Acting Chair Kitchen called the committee meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
Public Communication: General
Approval of Minutes
1. Approve the minutes of the Public Health Committee meeting on September 7, 2022.
The minutes of the November 28, 2022, Public Health Committee meeting were approved on Council Member Harper-Madison’s motion, and Council Member Tovo’s second, on a 4-0 vote, with Council Member Fuentes off screen and dais.
Discussion and Possible Action
2. Discussion and possible action regarding the review of applications to fill a vacancy for director on the Central Health Board of Directors.
Committee recommends to Council to appoint Manuel Martin to Central Health Board of Managers for a period of four years beginning January 2023 until January 2027.
3. Approve the 2023 Public Health Committee annual schedule
The Committee approved the 2023 Public Health Committee as provided in backup on Council Member Tovo’s motion and Mayor Steve Adler’s second, on a vote 4-0 with *Council Member Fuentes off screen.
Executive Session
4. Discussion the selection of members to the Central Health Board of Managers.

The Committee interviewed candidates for the Central Health Board of Managers with the recommends sending item to full Council was made on Council Member Tovo’s motion, Council Member Fuentes’ second on a 5-0 vote.
Acting Chair Kitchen adjourned the meeting at 5:32 p.m.
