Austin-based baking company Sprinkles Cupcakes announced that Allison Schulder has been named the company's new chief financial officer.
On Feb. 1, national dessert bakery chain Sprinkles named Schulder as their new CFO, bringing over 25 years of financial leadership experience to the company where she will oversee the growth of both franchise and company-owned bakeries worldwide, according to Business Wire.

Prior to her hire at Sprinkles, Schulder previously served as CFO at True Food Kitchen where she was responsible for securing multiple financing rounds that successfully supported the company’s rapid expansion from 14 to 39 restaurants across the country, according to Business Wire.

Schulder also piloted True Kitchen's financial functions, which included strategic planning, investor relations and financial reporting and analysis for widely established and well-known brands such as P.F. Chang’s, American Express and Starwood Hotels. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from SUNY Albany and is a certified public accountant, according to Business Wire.
