Zilker Holiday Tree Youth Art Contest invites young artists; winners help light annual tree

Artists aged 5 to 10 are being invited to participate in the Zilker Holiday Tree Youth Art Contest. Winners will have the opportunity to help light the Zilker Tree at the upcoming ceremony.

The contest recognizes top three entries in both Junior and Senior categories. The selected artists will be acknowledged during the tree lighting event, which is scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Entries for the contest are open until Saturday, November 1, 2025. Further information and details about how to enter can be found on the official website.

“Artists between the ages of 5 and 10 years old, it’s not too late to participate in the! Winners get to help light the Zilker Tree. The top three selected artwork winners in the Junior and Senior categories will be publicly recognized in the tree lighting ceremony on Sunday, November 30, 2025.”
