Round Rock is one of four Texas cities that will be welcoming Autism Learning Partners (ALP), as the development disability treatment center announced plans for company expansion on Jan. 25.

Specializing in the treatment of autism and other developmental disabilities, Round Rock joins Dallas, Frisco and Houston as part of its Texas expansion. ALP has existing locations in El Paso and Austin, according to PR Web.

“We’re committed to making progress possible for families in Texas by employing the best local clinical and operational leaders who strive to put families first,” Gina T. Chang, Ph.D. said, according to PR Web.

PR Web reports that the extension was prompted by an overwhelming need for quality center-based services in the community to compliment high-quality in-home services occurring around the state, according to PR Web.

Headquartered in Monrovia, California, ALP employs more than 280 board-certified behavior analysts in addition to a workforce of 3,000, according to PR Web.

“Services include: Applied Behavioral Analysis and additionally offer speech, occupational, physical therapies and diagnostic services in select regions,” PR Web states. “Treatment is now offered in 20 states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington.”

Autism Learning Centers began offering services in 1988 and was one of the first to use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and turned it into the foundation of services offered to children and their families.

“Autism Learning Partners strives to give hope, support and paths of progress for children and their families living with Autism and related disorders,” the Autism Learning Partners website reads. “We believe that a tailored, comprehensive care plan managed by our exceptional clinical talent, partnered with love and commitment from the family, allows each child to achieve their maximum potential.”
