Travis County seeks public input on CDBG action plan amendments

Travis County is seeking public input on proposed substantial amendments to its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plans for program years 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. The county announced that community members can submit comments over a 30-day period starting January 14, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ending February 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

A public hearing will also be held on February 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., providing another opportunity for residents to share their feedback.

According to the announcement, “Comments will be accepted for 30 days beginning January 14, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and ending on February 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. or by participating in a public hearing on February 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.”

Drafts of the proposed amendments and related summaries will be available for download from January 14, through the Travis County CDBG webpage at https://www.traviscountytx.gov/health-human-services/cdbg.

The invitation to comment is provided in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility for all residents.
