Travis County CDBG/HOME has introduced a new pre-screening tool aimed at assisting income-eligible homeowners in initiating the application process for the Home Rehabilitation Program. This tool is designed to help determine potential eligibility for the program.

To qualify through this pre-screening, applicants must reside within the Travis County CDBG service area, own and use their home as a primary residence, meet specific income guidelines that will be verified later, and have a home located outside of the 100-year floodplain.

It is important to note that meeting these criteria during pre-screening does not guarantee eligibility or services. Those who qualify will be invited to complete a full application with Meals on Wheels Central Texas, the program partner. Interested individuals can start their pre-screening by visiting: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/07dfd4a29cf141a9b50da92feef035f0
