The Texas Real Estate Center has issued the following press release:
TEMPLE – Meta Platforms Inc. is planning a 900,000-sf data center on 393 acres off N.W. H K Dodgen Loop and Industrial Blvd.
The $800 million hyperscale data center facility will support 100 operational jobs and employ 1,250 construction workers.
Construction begins this year.
There were approximately 67,668 job postings in the Austin area during April 2025, an increase from the previous month’s 64,458.
Austin’s job market showed significant growth in February 2025, according to a report by Opportunity Austin.
Austin, Texas, known as the “Silicon Hills,” has become a significant tech hub and center for innovation.
