If you are a frequent visitor to Pease Park, you might be familiar with Chuck Smith. As the Chief Operating Officer for Pease Park Conservancy, Smith has been instrumental in the park's renovation, conservation efforts, and the success of various events and programs.
Smith has announced his retirement this spring. While he plans to continue visiting, his daily involvement will be missed by the Pease Park community.
"We hope you will celebrate Chuck with us at this year’s Spring Fling!" The event will include Smith's favorite food, drinks, music, and a short program. Tickets are available for purchase to join in honoring him.
The celebration is scheduled for Sunday, March 30, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Tudor Cottage & Terrace located at 1100 Kingsbury Street. Tickets are priced at $25 per person.
