The Educational Impact category honors individuals who have positively influenced the district. "Angel Bethke, Drama Teacher," is recognized for creating an inclusive drama class that accommodates Life Skills students. Vanessa Clayton, a sixth-grade collaborative teacher, is commended for her support of both staff and students, fostering academic success and self-esteem. Jackie Compean, STEM instructional coach, has significantly impacted the Math and Science teams at West Ridge and Hill Country through her guidance in developing curriculum documents. Jennifer Hutson, an eighth-grade teacher, ensures her students receive a quality education while becoming socially conscious individuals. Nicki Kennington, special education coordinator, is praised for her leadership and support in special education programs at both middle schools. Emily Kraus, a math teacher, has created an engaging classroom environment where students are motivated to participate actively. Finally, in the Innovation category: Janet Leach is honored as an art teacher whose passion inspires young artists through creative exhibits like "Pets with Cardigans." Madiha Marium serves as an instructional technology coach ensuring WRMS teachers stay updated on new programs and technologies.
